The natural caves
This walk takes us from the “stazzo la China” to the famous “stazzo l’Agnata” (dated from 1851). Here we can admire an outstanding and exceptional view that ranges far and wide from Olbia (Monte Pino) to Aglientu (6 Kms from Vignola and the sea). Now we’ll explaine you what “stazzo gallurese” means, what kind of structure it has and how it works. Following an old country lane we reach a granite plain, with energetic rocks, overhanging the surrounding lands.
The way goes on with a rough track, made by the charcoal-burners long time ago, and takes us to the end of the valley. This part of the way could be slightly difficult, but most of time we walk in the shade. Leaving the charcoal-burners track, a country lane in the Mediterranean scrub takes us back to the holiday farm “Stazzi la China”.

N.B.: During the summer months clothing should be light and it is important to
protect against sun and wind. In cooler periods it is important to have warm
clothes but which allow your body to breathe. We advise layers in order to cater
for physical effort and for all possible weather conditions.
